Managing your home chores is one of the tiresome tasks, cleaning and maintaining your home is one of those as well. It’s not new to hear the term “Robotic Vacuum Cleaner”, if you are a home dedicator, then we believe you must also hear it. Samsung has revealed the world’s first ever Smart Robotic Vacuum Cleaner with Intel AI at CES 2021.
This concept may sound identical to many of us, since there is a shift of flagship vacuums like canisters and upright vacuum to automatic or robotic vacuum, which has been accrued so quickly and is adopted as well by thousands of people including home care takers.
However, the point of concern is, what’s really new in it? Let’s take a close look to Samsung JetBot AI 90
What features Samsung JetBot AI 90 does have?
Samsung has unveiled their first smart robotic vacuum which says it bears the following properties.
- Self discard of dust into the bin
- Object recognition
- Support LiDAK and 3D sensor
- WiFi control
- Support Intel AI
- Built-in camera
Discarding dust by robot vacuums to the base stations by themselves are newly introduced, first by iRobot Romba s9+ back in 2019 and now its getting in Samsung JetBot AI 90 which is about to join us in 2021. When the internal scale fills up with the dust, JetBot 90 will empty itself to the bin without even letting you know, nor you have to leave your comfort to do this by yourself. This feature has really made things easy for busy people or for those who often spend time out of the house.
Samsung JetBot AI 90 has special Lidak sensors to navigate its way from narrow spaces to wide areas with lots of furniture or objects. There is 3D sensor and Advanced AI Technology through which this robot vacuum will never eat the objects as small as a pin and can easily maneuver its way out from sprawled wires on the floor. Therefore there is no possibility for the vacuum to get stuck in a place and wait until you intervene to help him out.
Its object recognition based on Intel AI is extremely helpful to get the best accuracy and preciseness through which not a single spec of dust remains hidden. It can reach the most difficult areas under the furniture quite easily. It neatly wipes out the debris on the floor and leaves a clean and spotless region behind.
What’s more is the WiFi protocol, through which you can specify the areas you want to clean and restrict this robot vacuum from entering no-go areas via app on your smartphone. Other than this, there is a camera, which not only results in enhancing the navigational capabilities of the vacuum but also helps you to keep an eye on your pets or the presence of any person nearby.
Whereas talking about its price, Samsung has not placed any price tag on it yet, however according to most of the robotic vacuum cleaners in the market, they cost around $800 to $1000. Which gives a rough idea of the Samsung JetBot 90 AI cost. Although the picture will get better only when we can see this Vacuum cleaner in real, which is expected to come this year.
Bottom line
Samsung JetBot 90 AI is a smart robotic vacuum powered by Intel AI, that packs the accuracy and efficiency to provide the most effortless house cleaning whether you are at home or at office. The best part is its auto dumping at the bin and navigation properties without having hits and bumps with the objects in the room.
